Ring In 2009!

It’s New Years Eve! Personally, I’m so excited for 2009. I’m really looking forward to it. 2008 was an OK year for me, but I intend to make 2009 much better.
Every New Yeas Eve, my family orders Chinese food from Jade’s I love their food. Yum! I almost don’t want to stay up for it, but I know I should. I might have a nap later in the day and I’ll be up for it.
On Sunday, I went to the Eaton Centre with my best friend, Caitlin. It was lovely; my first time going there. It’s really crowded, not that I expected anything less. Here is a picture of what I bought minus the Abercrombie & Fitch shirt (drag and drop image into address bar to see full size):

I FINALLY got my TNA pants.
I’ve wanted them forever. Get this, though. They were on sale and I got them for $90.
I swear I wouldn’t normally buy something so expensive, but it was my Christmas money, lol. I wanted to treat myself to nice pants.
And I also bought three things from Bluenotes. They had a “Buy 2; Get 1 Free” sale on everything in the store. I’m actually wearing that white 3/4 sleeved shirt now.
Now, let me tell you, I have NEVER embarrassed myself so much in any store like I did that day.
So I bring the clothes up to the counter, and I was short about $10! I was like “8O what?” Because I had this planned out online and it wasn’t that expensive. So Caitlin loaned me $10 and I felt so bad.
After the purchase is made and we walk out of the store, I realize I forgot to use my membership card and $5 off coupon. -_____- So, because I have a deathly “if you don’t do it, you’ll regret it for the rest of your life” conscience, I marched back into that store and got another cashier to re-do my purchase with the membership and coupon this time. LOL
At least she wasn’t rude about it. That made it less awkward. I just wish I wasn’t so forgetful. But anyway, Caitlin got her $10 back and everything was fine.
The green Abercrombie & Fitch shirt is actually my gift from Caitlin. It still smells like the perfume! Mmm not going to lie, I enjoy that perfume, muchly.
Anyway, so I was talking with Caitlin about her Track & Field training and she said she starts running in January to prepare for April. She invited me to come running with her, so I agreed.
I need to get back into running, myself. A lot of my current friends would beg to differ, but I actually used to do a lot of Cross Country and track when I was younger. I don’t know what happened, I guess I just got bored of it and stopped. But I think it’d be a good idea to at least train with Caitlin and if I decide I like it, I can try out of Track & Field this year. If I don’t, then I don’t go but at least I got something out of the running. It’s a win-win situation, really.
Plus, number 1 on my list of resolutions is to tone my body and maintain it. This could be the start of it, yes? I think so. We start on Monday the 5th, also the day we go back to school. It should be good. I can’t wait!
It’s been a month since I got the Elidel and it hasn’t done anything for my eczema. So I went in today and my doctor prescribed something even stronger, this time I’ve got two tubes.
One of them is called Protopic, it’s not a cortisone this time. They call it a “tacrolimus ointment, 0.03%”. I don’t really know anything about all this medical stuff, but it should help.
The second one is an topical antifungal agent called Ketoderm. So it’s like an anti-bacterial cream because my doctor thinks my eczema might have been cause, this time, by a bacteria or something like that. AH! So I just read the packaging and it says to apply this one only one a day but on the prescription, it says for me to apply it twice a day… er… I think I’ll follow the packaging. Maybe they made a mistake on my prescription. heh.
I really hope this time it works. This is over 4 months now that I’ve been trying to get it off my face. Anything stronger, he said, could—erm—’damage” my face. In other words, it isn’t safe to use on the face. Therefore, I don’t want to be the guinea pig for that, thanks. So I’m crossing my fingers this’ll work. *crosses fingers*
This my last post of 2008! haha happy New Year everyone! Make a fantastic and memorable one.
